responsible for our Django REST Framework-based backend, which powers a
complex React frontend and a growing number of server-to-server integrations. You
will design and implement scalable, secure APIs and background services while
working closely with our CTO and senior frontend engineer.

Vereiste vaardigheden
- Strong experience with Django REST Framework and API architecture
- Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL, including performance and indexing
- Good experience with Celery and Redis for background jobs and caching
- Familiarity with AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, Cognito, etc.)
- Proficiency with Docker and Git-based workflows
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Strong communication skills and ability to solve problems independently
Nice to have:
- Experience with WebSockets (Django Channels)
- Previous work on authentication and authorization flows (JWT, OAuth2)

- Design and maintain high-performance APIs using Django and Django REST
Framework
- Build and manage background processing with asynchronous workers
- Ensure security, scalability, and resilience of backend systems
- Monitor and debug production issues with logging and diagnostics
- Contribute to deployment pipelines using Docker and GitHub Actions CI/CD
- Manage and maintain backend infrastructure and services on AWS (ECS, RDS, S3, Cognito, etc.)
