Business Development Manager

Introduction

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving Humanz’s commercial growth within the Benelux market by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives in influencer marketing and social commerce. In this role, you will identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, build long-term partnerships with leading brands, and represent Humanz in senior-level and C-suite discussions. You will manage the full sales cycle, oversee the pipeline, and ensure revenue targets and forecasts are met while developing commercial models and leading contract negotiations for strategic partnerships. Working closely with global, product, and operations teams, you will contribute to improving customer experience and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will analyze campaign performance data to generate insights, monitor market trends and competitors, and translate these insights into scalable growth opportunities in a fast-growing, data-driven environment.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or digital marketing.
  • Previous experience in technology, SaaS, digital advertising, influencer marketing, or agency environments is preferred.
  • Proven track record in new client acquisition, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract management skills.
  • A strategic mindset with solid knowledge of marketing, social media, and digital trends.
  • A leadership-oriented profile with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the Benelux market dynamics is a strong plus
  • Native Dutch and fluent English are required; proficiency in any additional European language is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies tailored to the Benelux market. 
  • Analyze market opportunities to build new brand partnerships and contribute to Humanz’s growth in the region. 
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with potential brand partners and represent Humanz BV in C-level meetings. 
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensure revenue targets are met, and provide strategic performance forecasts. 
  • Develop commercial models for strategic partnerships and oversee contract processes at a senior level.. 
  • Collaborate closely with global, product, and operations teams to enhance the customer experience and improve process efficiency. 
  • Analyze campaign performance data to generate insights and turn these into growth opportunities. 
  • Monitor influencer marketing trends, competitors, and industry developments within the Dutch market.
