Required Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying forecasting models to production
- Strong expertise in time-series modelling and causal forecasting
- Experience with uncertainty estimation, backtesting, and model explainability
- Solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, CI/CD, version control)
- Proven experience building scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure
- Experience operating ML systems in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Python for ML (R is a plus)
- Experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, Prophet, TensorFlow, Keras, XGBoost, LightGBM, statsmodels
- Experience with SQL, Spark, Pandas and orchestration tools like Airflow
- Cloud experience, preferably Azure (AKS, Azure ML, Data Lake, Event Hub, Functions)
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience in early-stage or startup environments
Key Responsibilities
- Own forecasting systems end-to-end: design, implement, deploy, and operate time-series and causal forecasting models
- Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines including feature stores, training pipelines, validation workflows, and CI/CD
- Automate retraining, rollout strategies, and monitoring for model performance and reliability
- Implement model observability including explainability, bias checks, drift monitoring, and SLA tracking
- Design cloud-native ML architectures on Azure for scalable and secure deployment
- Mentor engineers and contribute to raising ML engineering standards
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and customers to translate business needs into measurable ML outcomes
- Define success metrics and quantify product impact through analytics
- Continuously evaluate and introduce relevant ML technologies that drive real impact
