Account Executive

Introduction

As DACH Sales Executive at Rombit, you will take full ownership of developing new business in Germany, with a strong focus on the Cologne–Düsseldorf region. Your mission is to build a solid sales pipeline from scratch, actively hunt for new clients, and close deals around our plug-and-play solutions. You will operate independently, manage your own portfolio, and have the opportunity to grow into a Country Manager role. This position is ideal for a native German speaker with a proven track record in B2B sales, who thrives in prospecting, pipeline building, and driving results.

Required Skills

  • Native German communication – excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Prospecting & hunting – strong experience in cold calling, outreach, and new business development.
  • Pipeline management – proven ability to build and manage a solid sales funnel.
  • Consultative selling – ability to sell plug-and-play solutions and close deals in short sales cycles.
  • Territory ownership – independent, structured, and result-driven in managing your own region.
  • Negotiation & closing – strong skills in handling objections and securing contracts.
  • Cross-cultural collaboration – comfortable working in an international environment with English as a working language.

  • Drive new business development in the German market, with a focus on the Cologne–Düsseldorf region.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from scratch, ensuring consistent deal flow.
  • Actively prospect and hunt through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
  • Present and sell plug-and-play solutions, leading prospects through the full sales cycle to close.
  • Manage and grow your own client portfolio, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and leadership to maximize impact.
  • Report on progress and market insights to the executive team, contributing to strategic decisions.
  • Prepare for future growth, with the opportunity to evolve into the Country Manager role.
