As Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the further development of this platform. You will work on both backend and frontend systems using Ruby on Rails, contribute to architectural decisions, and build features that directly impact real users.
This is a product-driven engineering environment where you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and fellow engineers to solve complex technical challenges, improve scalability, and ensure long-term platform stability.

Their product combines a powerful Property Management System (PMS), a headless CMS, and an integration layer that connects bookings, operations, guest data, and third-party systems. Operating in around 14 countries, they focus on delivering one scalable, standardized platform without custom solutions per client.

Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in software engineering
- Experience building and maintaining production SaaS systems
- Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks (Django, Laravel, etc.)
- Experience with fullstack web development
- Understanding of MVC architecture
- Experience with APIs and external system integrations
- Experience working with database-driven applications
- Ability to contribute to system architecture and technical decisions
- HBO/WO level thinking (BSc in Computer Science preferred)
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in complex technical environments
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve fullstack features across a large SaaS platform
- Work on scalability, performance, and system reliability
- Design and maintain integrations with external platforms (e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb)
- Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions
- Improve code quality, structure, and maintainability
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers
- Take ownership of specific domains within the platform
- Identify technical improvements and implement them proactively
- Participate in technical discussions and cross-team collaboration
- Ensure long-term maintainability of the platform
