About the role
Benefits
- €4,500 – €6,500 gross salary (based on 40 hours) + 8% holiday allowance
- 25 vacation days + public holidays

Required Skills
- Strong experience in backend development and system architecture
- Proven ability to make independent technical decisions
- Experience with scalable and maintainable software design
- Ability to guide and review development work
- Strong communication skills in technical and non-technical contexts
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, or distributed systems
- Ability to balance technical quality with business priorities
- Leadership mindset without requiring formal management role
- Quick learner of new technologies and systems
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction across multiple projects
- Make architectural and implementation decisions
- Guide internal and external development teams
- Review technical solutions and improve code quality
- Define and improve technical workflows and standards
- Identify risks early and propose solutions
- Act as technical point of contact in absence of leadership
- Collaborate closely with founders and engineering teams
- Coach and support developers where needed
- Contribute hands-on when required
